With a donation of $50, you can sponsor a Christmas Care Basket through Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama and help bring comfort, encouragement, and practical support during a challenging time of year.
Delivering more than a basket
Each Care Basket is valued at more than $125 and includes a variety of meats, prepared meals, holiday treats, pantry staples, personal care items, and household essentials. These thoughtfully assembled baskets are designed to ease some of the daily burdens faced by family caregivers while adding a touch of holiday joy.
Starting on December 9, the ACA Board, Junior Board, staff, and their families personally hand-deliver each basket to families caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s at home. These visits provide not only needed supplies, but also reassurance that their community is thinking of them and supporting them.
