Here’s a truly engaging activity that the whole family can enjoy, even from a distance.

Today is the day to begin to record your life story or your family member’s story. It’s not complicated. You can do as much or as little as you want every day. LifeBio helps people ask the right questions to bring out the best memories and stories with the ultimate goal of creating a lasting and priceless legacy.

Set a goal of asking and recording at least one question a day. It’s a great way to connect from a distance. Children can get involved and learn more about their elders! Siblings can take turns asking questions and recording answers from afar.

The possibilities are endless!

There are several ways to share and record your stories:

1. Discounted Memberships: LifeBio is offering a 25% discount off web memberships at LifeBio.com for friends of ACA throughout 2020. You can sign up for a month’s membership for $5.00 (normally $7.99). This would provide questions for you to explore with your family member giving you the opportunity to learn new an interesting facts about each other. Record your answers on LifeBio’s online template. You can print your answers anytime or even create a bound journal, that includes photos, as a lasting legacy. Multiple family members can participate at the same time, taking turns asking and recording answers – each person needs an email and a password to setup their account. Multiple family members can participate and add information by accessing LifeBio with the same email address and password. Auto renewal will occur with this option each month (unless you call or email to cancel).
2. Discounted Journals: LifeBio has several Journals that can be completed by hand. All journals are being offered at a 25% discount to friends of ACA. Capture Your Story Journals are only $11.22 per journal – this one works for ANYONE. Family can help fill it out for a loved one with more advanced dementia.
